Our mission is to provide a structured educational environment for the development of superbly trained physicians in general obstetrics and gynecology; and to provide professional opportunities post residency for those interested in pursuing fellowship positions in the subspecialties or securing positions as attendings in private practice or academic institutions.

Meet Our Directors

Scott Smilen, MD serves as the Residency Program Director. He is assisted by Associate Program Directors, Abigail Ford Winkel, MD and Sigrid (Bri) Tristan, MD.

Obstetrics, gynecology, the subspecialties and primary women's health care are taught through the use of conferences, lectures, journal clubs and hands-on experience.
