The Pregnancy Loss Prevention Center at NYU Langone Medical Center
We are pleased to announce that women who have experienced or are at risk of the devastating loss of miscarriage will have a new resource as they search for answers and treatment toward having a successful pregnancy.
The Pregnancy Loss Prevention Center is bringing together a multidisciplinary team of world renowned experts to provide support, education and care to women, while also translating cutting-edge miscarriage research into innovative patient care.
Physicians from the fields of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (high-risk obstetrics), 3d/4d Ultrasound Imaging, Reproductive Endocrinology and In Vitro Fertilization, Genetics and Reproductive Psychiatry will all be available through the Center to provide patients with coordinated care that encompasses the wide range of services needed:
- Diagnosing cause of pregnancy loss
- Evaluating and treating medical causes of pregnancy loss
- Hormonal testing for evaluation
- Preparing for pregnancy
- High-risk obstetrical care during pregnancy
- Preventing pregnancy loss and prematurity
- 3d/4d ultrasound screening
- Genetic screening
- In Vitro Fertilization and other fertility treatments
- Counseling in reproductive medicine and pregnancy loss
- Support groups
- Pastoral care
- Educational resources on pregnancy loss and treatment options
