Patient Care at Bellevue Hospital

Bellevue lays claim to being the oldest public hospital in the United States. Currently, it is the flagship hospital of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and one of the most respected municipal hospitals in the country, providing patient care regardless of the patient's ability to pay. Bellevue is also the primary teaching hospital of the New York University School of Medicine and an integral component of the NYU Langone Medical Center Residency Programs.
