Dr. Shilpi Mehta-Lee Comments on Blood Clot Awareness Month and What it Means During Pregnancy

The “One in a Thousand” campaign is designed to raise awareness of the risks of blood clot/deep vein thrombosis development during pregnancy. While the statistic 1:1000 is ominous, it's not something most women should panic about. Shilpi Mehta-Lee, MD, assistant professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center is interviewed.
