Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Training Program

Xrays of the uterusThe Division of Gynecologic Oncology's academic mission is to train its fellows to be physician-scientists as well as clinical gynecologic oncologists.

The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program is a three-year training program accredited by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology that leads to board certification in gynecologic oncology.

One fellow is accepted per year for each of the three years of the fellowship. They begin their first year of training with laboratory research, then proceed to an even split of clinical training and clinical research in each of the remaining two years, including one month in the Intensive Care Unit.

Gynecologic Oncology fellows rotate through Tisch and Bellevue hospitals, acquiring a unique education from the diverse patient care settings and benefiting from the specialized care provided by the NYU Cancer Institute.
