Overview
The elective is designed to expose the student to reproductive health issues as a function of a woman's life cycle: adolescent years, reproductive years, mid-life and post menopause. The student will have the opportunity to see patients in both the private and public sector in an outpatient setting. Objectives include refining assessment abilities; learning approaches to health maintenance, disease prevention, and illness management; and becoming familiar with ongoing research in reproductive health.
