Cancer Risk Assessment in Women

Overview
This elective exposes students to the principles used in assessing cancer risk in women. Students will be exposed to genetic counseling, screening and prevention strategies specifically in reference to breast, ovarian, endometrial and colon cancers. There will also be one-on-one teaching with the course director, with a focus on the literature that explains why we do what we do. Research projects will also be explored.
