Doctors in NYU Langone’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provide women of all ages with a full range of clinical services, from annual gynecologic exams and family planning, to prenatal care and labor and delivery, to the management of menopause symptoms.

Our maternal–fetal medicine specialists offer advanced care for women who have high-risk pregnancies, including patients who are in preterm labor or would like to have a vaginal birth after cesarean delivery. Our experts are also part of a multidisciplinary team at the Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Program, offering treatment for a full range of fetal conditions.

NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital has been designated a Regional Perinatal Center by New York State, in addition to being designated Baby-Friendly^™ by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children’s Fund. Our patient safety officers work to ensure the safest possible labor and delivery for our patients.

At the NYU Langone Fertility Center, our department’s reproductive endocrinologists provide the latest treatments for infertility in women and those who have experienced recurrent miscarriage.

Our department offers treatment for other reproductive and sexual health conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse, menopause, and benign vulvar conditions. Our gynecologic oncologists work closely with experts at NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center to diagnose and treat ovarian, fallopian tube, cervical, endometrial, vulvar, and vaginal cancers. Minimally invasive gynecologic robotic surgery may be an option for treating some of these conditions.
